For Sale! 23 Star touring. Original motor. Starts, drives and stops. Looks very nice, but does need some restoration to be great. I have no idea of its history. I adopted it from a recent widow whose husband bought it 10 years ago. Before that, it was owned by a local well known antique collector. It’s been restored at one point in its life. It’s an early model out of Oakland. Body #967 (out of 18,369) Motor #7452. Title matches the motor, which was common in those days.
Trans has a howl under load in 2nd. Everything, including the cow horn, works. Ignition switch has issues, but works. I have the bows for the top. Three of them intact. I have the 4th which needs replacing, but it’s intact enough for a template. I have the original top as well. Poor shape, but is a template. I’ve got a lot of detailed pictures. I’ll try to post a link to my Google Drive. Msg me for the Google Drive link. Also have two spare engines. Unk what year or condition. Both have Star plaques.
Asking $10,000.00. The widow wanted it to go to a good home. I’m elbows deep in restoring my Great Grandfathers Model A, so I don’t have time to make it great.
