Working on the Registry in Ont, I kept seeing 416 in the Leaside aftermarkets with a W8A engine but no where in DMAC was a notation of such a model. Not in vin books but little is in those for trucks and sure no mention of Canadian models which is why US folks think Durant made to 1931. Nope Leaside name changed to Dominion Motors shortly after the plant became totally Canadian owned and operated Jan 14 1931 to make whatever it wanted. They chose to continue the Durant into 32 and Rugby to end of 33.

Wasn't until a DMAC member got two parts books off eBay of Dominion Motors 1933 and one book listed the models on a page, and there was the 416 1931. None surviving we know of.

Its like the 633 Durant only mentioned in the Leaside aftermarkets but .. two exist a Coupe and a Sedan. Promo or production ?? 7, 11, 13 possibly made. This model is not listed on those parts books.
