My dad bought this 1927 Durant Star Coupe in 1970, drove it around, then took it apart to restore it and started a family instead. He passed away a few years ago and I'd like to sell it. I need help understanding what its worth. I have a few bills of sales of previous owners which adds some interesting history. Thank you.

This is a 1928 model year Star R Coupe. Jan 1 1928 it became the 55 Durant
1928 Star R vins Aug 1 1927 to Dec 31 1927 at Elizabeth Plant E-33000 to E-40000
1928 model year changes … new streamlined body, higher radiator, twin bead body molding, narrower front door pillar post, cadet sun visor, tires all models 29 x 5.00. All other specifications same as 1927 Star R.
