looking for suitable home for this engine as I'm moving.

I really ain't knowledgeable when it comes to automobile history or motors. I inherited this yellow looking tractor motor with a continental engine plate referencing a Star Motor Company. If anyone knows of a project type person I could offload this to, I would appreciate it.

The first & second picture are of a Star motor, also look like W-4,5 heads near the T blocks.....

Yup, OK, now I see the Star flywheel and clutch laying on the floor just past the block in the first pic.
That's too far off my beaten path, otherwise I would pick them all up!

If you click on the first pic it enlarges, then save to your pc. Open with paint and enlarge pic, and it says W4A. So Star C or first of F's. Engine serial might pin year down more.

That a magneto in 2nd pic that some Stars had, as we discussed on Forum not long ago ?

Hi Norm.....

I think the second picture shows an old "dog house" coil not a mag. My B-22 still has one of those......

I see gentlemen are finding the pictures I shared a drop box link to. That's great and I can email them directly to whomever contacts me. I can send a serial number to the engine if anyone is strongly interested in identifying it. Again, I'm moving too far across the country to warrant dragging this project along.

Eric Granrud. Start Engine is near Chicago, IL. Don't know value but wouldn't turn down a couple bucks. Contact me via email at granrude@hotmail.com or 630-397-3673 if anyone knows of an interested party to receive this engine. thank you
