Windshield Rubber for 1928-29 Durants
Many years ago an article in “The Old Partsman” reported that the
windshield rubber used on all 1928-29 Durant closed cars and
cabriolets (M-2, M-4, 40, 55, 60, 63, 65, 70, 75 and L-2 trucks)
was still available from Wefco Rubber Co. inCalifornia. Recently,
member Bill Hoaglan contacted the company and was able to buy
some more rubber. Their updated information is as follows:
Wefco Rubber Mfg. Co., Inc.
21000 Osborne Street, Unit 2
Canoga Park, CA 91304
818-886-8872

The Wefco P/N is #835.0 and is an exact match of the Durant
windshield rubber P/N #24766. It takes 7’ to go around the
windshield. A minimum charge of $50 to cover the set up is
required.

Re: Front windshield rubbers that fit into the glass frame .
Hey Phil and everybody;
I think it was Bill Hoaglan several years ago posted that I think it was Wefco but I'm not sure, had the rubber for the windshields that fit in the grooves in the windshield frame. I sent my order in and it was an exact fit. For the bottom, top and side flat rubber insulated pieces, I think Steele has them.
