Hello Durantonians;

It is with great sadness that I report that I was contacted by our Past President Frank Witkowski this morning to report that his beloved wife, Cathy passed away yesterday in Hookstown, Pennsylvania after a recent illness. For those of you that are new members of the DMAC Cathy was the DMAC First Lady from 2010 to 2015. She held the position well, being totally involved with Durant matters and adding a bit of refinement and "class" to our Durant meetings. She was instrumental in always arranging either by plan or spur of the moment things for the ladies to do while us guys talked or did car things such as having high teas, visiting local sites that would be of interest to the feminine side of the club and always planning that special shopping trip to the local antique or gift shops in the area. She is one that I will miss very much and always enjoyed her company as Frank, Cathy and I would travel around at the various DMAC East Coast and National chapter meets. She was always upbeat and friendly with a good sense of humor, and just fun to be around. She will be missed by all that got to know her!

For those of you that are praying people, please keep Frank and the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through these difficult times.

At this time I have no further information on any arrangements for Cathy and if I receive them, I will pass it on to you all.

So sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. I really know just what Frank is passing through, as I lost my dear Mary Carolyne almost 5 years ago. I will keep Frank in my prayers.

My sincere condolences on Cathy’s passing. Losing a loved one as close as a spouse is devastating. Cathy was a delight to know and always had a kind word for everyone.
