I want to thank all that posted their gratitude and kind words and memories of my father Bert. Like I mentioned, D.M.A.C was his outlet to the love of the "star" automobile. He loved talking star with anyone who was interested. Ever since I was young the "star" was in our blood. WE had a train table in our garage and under the train table was a 1927 star truck. He always wanted to find people of his infatuation of his interest. Then came the meeting in hershey, pa. This was his opportunity to have a group to share his interest. Thus, the sage began. The last big hurrah was the 25th anniversary tour. He would stop at nothing to make it a success. I hope this encouragement will spark new people to get involved and push this group to higher limits. Bert will be watching from afar.

Mike- you know how special both your parents are. And they both are held very high in this club. I have loved them both since they were standing next to me as we went into the Newark Durant Factory in 2004. We count both as some of our BFFs.. So this is really hard news to process. Sending love and prayers to the entire family. Know we all love him (and Sonia). We are blessed to have so many wonderful memories from past meets.

Hi All
Very sad to hear of Bert's passing.
we had the privilege of calling Bert a good friend. From the first time we met him in Hershey to the many DMAC meets he always impressed with his friendly outgoing demeanor.
His memory will live on with us as we drive and enjoy Cathy's Star roadster. Some of the unobtainable parts Bert supplied will keep his memory alive.
