Someone put flat glass in for my headlight lenses in my 31 Durant 612 they measure about 9” doses anyone no a part number or a source to get them. They don’t seem very bright do you think the proper lenses will help?
I think all 30-31 Durant used the same headlight lenses so the members here should be able to come up with what you need. The stock headlamp bulbs were very weak even when new. Check with Model A ford suppliers, for a brighter bulb or switch over to a LED build. The Model A Ford guys have used these for several years now, so they have a track record. I intend to use the LED bulbs on my 31 Durant once it's back together.

Glolite heaadlight lense 944GL. There's some out there somewhere. All the fluting or "design" on headlight lenses focuses the light to be most effective. Rick is right though- get yourself LED bulbs-- brighter light, use less power, should last forever in this application. You can oftentimes get different temperature bulbs, which can change the color or brightness of the light output. Costs have reached reasonable levels. There is a lense on ebay right now for $24.95.
Yes Glolite 994GL on 1930 - 31 US Durant / Rugby and 1930 Can, except for the 617 which has the 10 1/8 Twilight lense. 1931 - 32 Can Durant, 1931 - 32 Frontenac, 1931 - 33 Rugby is Depress Beam 11471. 1933 Frontenac is Depress Beam 12887.
