Hey Rick that is interesting and thanks for putting that up. Just after I became President, I was contacted by the Leaside Historical Society chairman about submitting a letter to the board of development to stop the tearing down of the last remaining building of the Durant plant there, the administrative building to build some modern apartments/condominiums. I did submit a lengthy letter to them stating the importance of saving one of the only remaining Durant buildings there as part of LEaside's history. I think they did get a reprieve from development for now, but I'm sure the developers will attach again. They video from 1923 that we have and have shown before at our events is from the Leaside plant or the assembly line of a Durant/Star tourings coming down the line.

Neat ... If that's car T 1992 its a 1930 sedan. Next car they are adding the one piece metal roof and upper back window section, that Rick just took off to do the woodwork. Must do the cars backwards as one after those have the Budd steel doors added.

Don't you wish you could pluck one off the assembly line right before they "painted" them (with the "flow" method), and say I'll take it from here. Ross
