Hi sam here, new to Durants. Found a 1932 model 619 4door and wondering about availability of parts and possible value restored. This car needs a few parts and a TOTAL restoration. Thanks ahead for any advice!

Hi Sam ... the 619 was produced at Lansing plant from May 1931 to plant closing Aug 1931, so the car you found is 1931. All are sedans. The 619 was not produced at Leaside but was sold there. It would appear at closing of the last US Durant Motors plant they shipped unsold 619's to Toronto to get rid of them at Dominion Motors. The 619 has a dropped frame and shorter wheelbase. There are less than 20 known 619's. As far as restored value they are what is termed Orphan cars and do not command big prices. Our cars have to be viewed as a hobby only.
