A very Happy and Prosperous New Year to all our American Cousins from those up here in the great white north! We have had more snow this year in December than we had all last year. I am very fortunate to have a good neighbour with a snowblower and he has blew my driveway 5 times so far this month.
2016 was a very busy touring year for us. Just hope that 2017 will be the same. We enjoy touring and visiting with friends and this year was exceptional. Especially the Durant meet in Orillia! What a great time we had, thanks to the organizational skills of the Atkinson's.
Every year we must give thanks and praise to Carol, who edits and publishes our great magazine. Thank you, thank you, thank you Carol. Also thanks to those who contribute articles for inclusion in the magazine. Keep up the good work.
Our Web reporter, Rick Botti, deserves a round of applause at all times. We have one of the best web pages that I read. The forum keeps us up to date, and just reading all the notes and queries keeps those members in our thoughts. What a wonderful thing this internet is.
Our Executive, led by Mike Linthicum, need to be included in our praise for keeping our club functioning in a true wonderful fashion. I am sure that Gary Kaufman is pleased to see that the club he started is flourishing and that Jeff Gillis is smiling to see that his legacy continues. May it ever be so!
Keep your stick on the ice for 2017.

Well I'll admit it. I fell asleep prior to the New year ringing in. Ya start to feel old when you turn on the television and see the groups on the various New Years Eve shows and you don't know any of them. May all you Durantonians have a very Happy and Healthy New Year! For one of your New Years Resolutions, get em out and drive them!

Welp, here I set in Yuma,AZ, It has been raining much of this New Year's weekend...The roads are too muddy to get to the shop where I am putting a new top on the Higby car and I am thinkin, If I were to have stayed home in Leavenworth I could be partisipating in the annual New Years day polar bear plunge in Lake Wenatchee, I guess you just can't have it all!
Happy New Year to all!
