Ah that's nasty. You might try JB WELD if the crack can be accessed externally and is not near bolts and such. It's really tough stuff and I've used it on other repairs with great success. The key to adhesion will be removal of all oily/gas contamination and then a light and careful sanding or scuffing with sand paper to give it good adhesion. Once fully cured gasoline won't affect it. Well worth a try.
