My Dad has a 1921 Durant Touring car in great condition with 39,229 miles on it. The vehicle was reconditioned in 2000. Also looking to find out how many of these were manufactured. Model A-22 Car No. N523 Blue 4 door with new canvas top.

I can tell you that with the serial number you have given that this is the earliest Durant A-22 on record. Although this car was built in 1921 it's model year is 1922, which does not detract from it being the earliest Durant A-22.
