During the San Diego meet, D J Federlein approached us about his idea for a historical data project focusing on our cars and the knowledge base of our members.
The idea was influenced by Phil Peter's technical presentation of his car in the hotel parking lot.
During dinner a few of us volunteered Phil to help with this project! Being the gracious gentleman that he is Phil agreed to help.
D J and Phil have put together a questionnaire and data base to accumulate and share this information.
Once the info is collected, Mike and Rick will have it posted in the Museum.
This project can only succeed with your help. Please contact either D J or Phil, and share your recollections / stories and other data. Here is their proposal:
Objective:
1) - To accumulate as much of the facts/opinions/fine point particulars/minute details of the Durant automobiles that is stored in the extensive memories of our Durant members.
2) - Preserve this data it an organized/retrievable/detailed form in the museum archives.
