Possible new items for the club store?

At the recent National Meet in San Diego, it was suggested by several members to possibly offer some glasses for sale in the store. These would be either a wine glass or a beer/soda glass with either our club logo or the first Durant radiator emblem with our club name on the glass. As we have to order more than a couple of these when we have them made. Is there any interest in these. Please place a vote for either:

1: Wine glass with etched design

2: Beer/soda glass with etched design

Also let me know what you prefer:

A. Etched or color club logo

B. Etched or color first Durant radiator emblem with club name on the glass.

Thanks.Remember if we don't get any interest than we will not have them made for us, so please vote and let me know.

We would be interested in pint beer glasses, or even 20 oz beer glasses.

Re: Possible new items for the club store?

since i do not drink wine, nor will i drink wine even in a durant glass that has durant wine, i will not buy wine glasses...but i will buy beer glasses, etched or with a color logo.

so why not see what the price for pint or 20 oz glasses as well as wine glasses, and then there are many types of wine glasses.

I would also prefer the beer glasses or mugs with the DMAC logo. What kind of prices are you talking about.

Re: Possible new items for the club store?

Thanks everyone for your vote, keep them coming. The majority might win! I say might because if there is not enough interest it will be too expensive to get them designed and made up. Minimum order is around 24 glasses and like other things the more we order the better deal we get. Yes Charlie your vote has been registered for the beer glasses, but what about Peg? Yates I have some prices so far, but cannot give a total price for each glass yet until I get a possible figure on how many would be interested in these. We'll probably offer these in sets of two if we offer them at all.

Peggy-
Idrink my rye out of a rusty can if nothing else is available--. But the glasses would be good for the odd occasion when I do drink a sip of wine.

Re: Possible new items for the club store?

OK Mike- I vote for the pint glasses!!!!! Not only can you use them for beer (or Rye in Ken's case), we use the pint glasses for Iced Tea, water, sodas etc. A little more functional than a stemmed glass.
