valve clearance

Would anyone know what the valve clearance should be fo a Continental 14L engine? Are they to be adjusted hot or cold? Is the clearance for the intake valves the same as for the exhaust valves?

Also, what should the head bolts be torqued to?

Kind regards and thank you for the help!

Re: valve clearance

Hi Claude.....

Most of the information you are looking for can be found on our Technical page.

Look at the Model 60 specs and tune up specifications....

Re: valve clearance

Hi Frank,

Thank you for your answer. Where do I find the Technical page? Is it on a different website? I've been trying all over to find a lead or a tab to it, but can't find. I didn't know that there was one, but I sure could use any information I could find there.

Thanks,

Claude

Re: valve clearance

Claude,

Go to http://www.durantmotors.org

From there you will see yellow buttons or tabs on the left hand side, one of them will say Technical Page.
