I use battery tenders on all my stored cars. Twice now the tender terminal that was attached to the battery completely corroded away breaking the connection. I end up with a lot of green stuff on the terminal and a dead battery. What gives?

I've had a 6 v Battery Tender hooked up to my battery for about 3 years now and never had that problem. Just keeps plugging away. You might find the Battery Tender web site and email the technical section to see what's going on with yours.
