Last winter, john kutarna of Regina Saskatchewan 1-306-586-8658 did my '27 wheels with new hickory. Calls himself Wheels of Wood.

Cost $ 1,000 Cdn, he has good shipping methods.

I went to his shop and watched a master take apart one of my wheels while talking of what he saw.

It was good stuff.... and my wheels still run true after a 1000 mile summer.

I've used Jim Kanne (503) 638-5275 in West Linn Oregon (a suburb of Portland). Only uses hickory that he's throughly dried. I've had them on my 6-14 for several years-running true. Ross
