Continental engine 6-66

Hello,

I found out, that your DURANT`s and STAR`s have the same 6-cyl CONTINENTAL-L-head engine, which is built in into my AUBURN 6-66 A from 1927.
I`m just restoring it and I`m looking for a new oil guard, which is placed at the rear end of the crankshaft. It was made of an aluminum cast material, which, after 80 years, is in a very bad condition.
DO you know somebody, who is reproducing this part?

Thanks for your efforts,

Peter (Munich, Germany)

Hi Peter....

Check with Mike Butters

nbutters@eagle.ca

He does custom castings. If he has a pattern he can make it. Does excellent work.
