Dennis & Gary
This is Arthur's car as he's from Heathville, Virginia. For those of you who have never seen a model 70, they are one of the biggest and most richest looking Durants as far as I'm concerned. Gary has a coupe and Frank W. has a sedan. For many years everyone thought they were non-existent but after Gary got his, two more have shown up. Just goes to show that in the Durant world you never know what is out there. I'm not sure of the wheel base on this, but the interior is very impressive and the door handles have a beautiful acorn design on them. The instrument cluster is great looking and looks very similar to the other non-existent car that Bob Smith has the 33 Durant. It would be a beautiful car to restore. Appears everything is there, but needs some rust repair and restoration of parts. Would be a beautiful car when fully correctly restored.

Hi All.....

Interesting that of these 3 Model 70's, each is a different body style.

Arthur's is a Deluxe sedan, with wire wheels, Mine is a standard sedan with wood spokes, and Gary's is a standard coupe also with wood wheels.

The door handles have a "pine cone" design. Interiors are very plush. These are very large cars for Durants.

In the world of Durants never say never, who knows what is still hidden away out there!!
