Hi Keith,
I´m looking for the TOP-COVER ( to the front of the carb) mine is broken and the gasoline is coming out of the screw/ coming into the carb. ( from gas-pump to carb).
It is such a Stromberg U-2 Carb as shown on the picture.
Do you have some more parts ??? Do I need any other parts that may brake after a while and you have it in spare ???? Do yo have a drawing of that too ????
If you could give me a hand with that would be fantastik. Germany is too far away from your place

Thorsten-Yes that top cover to the Stromberg U-2 is easy to break, especially where the supply line comes in. It tends to get overtightened and the pot metal will crack. Mike and Neil Butters listed in the vendor section should still make a reproduction from the late Harvey Frid's list of reproduced Durant parts.

Ok,
Where do I get maybe a tlf no or email adress of those guys from ???
They might have also parts for cab of the Willys Knight ??
email would be perfect.
Hi Thorsten, the top cover that Butters makes is cast
aluminium with all the cannels and holes filled in. It needs to be machined which is no easy task.
I will post more on this subject W/ pics of what I have done. Zenith makes a good replacement carb
that works very well, but you will lose authenticity

I purchased one new reproduction plate called float chamber top, for a Stromberg U2 from Vintage and Classic Reproductions from Austrailia. Did not require any remachining. Fit perfectly.
