For the last year and a half I've been finishing a frame-off, nut and bolt restoration of the car I had in High School: a 1950 Mercury 4-door. On Saturday, I bolted on the hood and drove it to a show in San Rafael, CA. This was the first time it had been out of the garage in eight years. Four hours later, it got Best Of Show against 300 cars! I was thrilled.

A big thank you to all of the club members who gave me advice on this. I really appreciate all your help.

Now, it's time to get the Star ready for the 4th of July parade. I've already sent two rims out to be plated.
