Does anyone have the main and rod oil clearance specifications for the continental 6 cylinder motor? It is the 1928 model year having the 7 bearing 15U motor. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say, shoot for 0.002 clearance. Some say remove shims until it takes a light tap to move the rod, then add .002 thick shims, and it should move by hand.[Remove and add shims equally on each side of the rod.] Or you can use plastic gage.
