Re: Article in the Sun ed of Toronto Star on Durnat 12 april
All,
A tie-in to this article is another one about; William C. Durant, "Founder of General Motors was Original Wheeler Dealer", Page E6, Section E, in a Toronto (?) Newspaper; "Globe and Mail Advertising Special Report", dated Wednesday, October 30, 1985.
The special (advertising) report pullout is titled: "The Centennial Celebration of the Car". It contains many other stories of Auto history, Classic cars no longer made, Key auto related People, British auto and German auto history and a story of the "new" rise of the Japanese auto industry!
All good reading. I got this Advertising pull-out with my Locomobile and DURANT papers from the Estate sale last year.
Should be on micro-fiche or found using a computer search-engine of back issues of this Newspaper in Canada. Enjoy.
