I have two pressure plates for my 29 model 60, both are cracked where the guide bolts are. Is this a common problem? Can they be welded and resurfaced?

It would be easiest to replace the pressure plate. Your complete clutch and all related parts is also used on C, F, M, M2, M4, 40, R, and 55. In other words, all Stars used the same clutch.

As far as I know, there are no sources for new pressure plates. Excellent used ones are plentifully available.
