MY 1923 STAR TOURING WON THE 1ST PLACE JUNIOR AT THE CUMBERLAND AACA MEET YESTERDAY. I THINK IT IS A GREAT DAY FOR OUR DURANT CARS AS I BEAT OUT SOME HIGH END CARS LOADED WITH A LOT OF CHROME AND BELLS AND WHISTLES.(MOPAR STUFF)NOW ON TO HERSHEY IN OCTOBER FOR MY SENIOR.

I see that there is a filter bowl between the fuel pump and the carb. I have a 25 Star that doesn't have one. Does anyone know if it was standard in 25?

Ed's fuel filter is an add on and is a good idea. I plan on using one in this location on my 27 coupe. The only other fuel filter is located in the inlet fitting on the vacuum fuel pump.

THE FILTER WILL BE OUT BEFORE HERSHEY.THE CAR CAME WITH A FILTER WHEN I GOT IT AND I COULD NEVER GET A GOOD ANSWER AS TO IT BEING ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. SO WHY TAKE A CHANCE, OUT IT COMES.

THE WEBB TYPE FAN BELT THAT YOU SENT ME FOR THE STAR CAME IN AN ORIGINAL BOX THAT WAS MARKED 23 STAR. LOOKS LIKE THAT BELT IS ORIGINAL EQUPMENT. IF ANYONE HAS AN ANSWER TO WHAT IS THE RIGHT BELT, LET ME KNOW. I DO HAVE A NEW LEATHER BELT THAT I CAN USE FOR THE HERSHEY SHOW.
