Can anyone help me with a photo of the Hub Caps
for a 1929 Rugby D. 40. When I purchased the Pick up it hadDurant Hub caps on. This would not be original
would it. Or pehaps they chucked anything on the export models ex Leaside. Whats the verdict.

John you got that part right, Leaside chucking anything on vehicle's. Just thought it was all D plants that had boxes of parts to assemble cars and took a part out of box A and same part out of box B that was different. That's why we say there's no two Durant's the same. What's the difference Rugby to Durant cars other than the name badge. So far I have parts of 5 Depress Beam headlights and all 3 don't interchange doors and reflectors to make one set for me. Only the lenses do.
So your caps might be right even though they are wrong. Make sense
