Does anyone have the part #'s and location to purchase bearings and seals for rebuild of my 1929 Durant 2dr sedan rear end?
Thanks

Re: rear end rebuild

If you go to the Tech Page under modern improvements there are step by step instructions including seal numbers to upgrade your axle and pinion seals to modern neoprene lip seals. The pinion and carrier bearings should be available through your local bearing supplier. The axle bearings are a different story due to the fact that the bore is actually tapered to fit the axle. You can try Olcar Bearing Company or you can try to locate good used bearings from a club member.

Stan,
Try Olcar Bearing Co. Ph.# (910 693-3324)

I just purchased Felt seals for our rear axles.
I think that Gordy Curl had aquired some bearings from him.
