Share Your Memories of Auburn

Hi All.....

As Rick mentioned in another post WE NEED YOUR HELP.

The next super sized issue of the Partner is going to feature our 10th annual Meet in Auburn. We need your stories. If everyone who was there could write a couple lines about their experiences we would fill the magazine.

Carol will edit the thoughts, so just email them to her or post them here.

A couple of mine to kick it off....

Looking out the hotel window every morning and seeing another car trailer.

The Mosser brothers discovering the "lost" stash of Durant Factory parts. That is a whole nother story, more to come. Stay tuned.

Meeting folks who we only knew from the forum and phone.

Yates pulling his own ticket to win the Dusenberg

The suspense of opening the package from Lance that held the Dusenberg, (remember he said he was painting it pink)

Having my own personal "pit crew" Thanks Franz !

Please add your thoughts and let's make this an issue to remember....

Frank......See Y'all in Oregon

Memories from Team CSI

What a suprise to receive two scale model cars for figuring out two pieces of the Dusenburg journey. Thanks for the memories.

Seeing the look on the face of Lance Haynes when I delivered the signed Dusenburt, which was wrapped in pink paper, to him the week after the DMAC meeting.

As an architect, I loved to see the cars that were driven by Frank Lloyd Wright that were on display at the Dusenburg Museum.

One of my passions is photography. I really enjoyed the opportunity to photograph all of the Durants, Stars, Rugby, Flints, and DeVaux that were in Auburn........yes I know that I am a PITA, but it makes for better photographs.

We always enjoy seeing our Durant family members.
