Spotted at the Monroe, WA swap meet this weekend: a W-5A short block. Casting numbers W5A 608A and 20 J E (which may be the date of the block casting). Continental ID plate has W-5A 551663. It is a short block with the head and all accessories gone. The bolt-on timing case housing is broken. Looked like a solid core to rebuild. They were asking $100 but when I said it was probably only worth $20, he said they would be happy if they could get $20.
