Dear Durant Owners
This August 26-27 the Wisconsin Region of the Classic Car Club will again present The Masterpiece Style and Speed Concours automobile show at Milwaukee's lakefront. We are presenting rare, fine and historic autos in a Concours D’Elegance setting with all proceeds to benefit a Milwaukee charity. This year will be even bigger than last with about 200 automobiles on Masterpiece Sunday. On Sunday we have committed cars such as a Cadillac V-16, Bugattis, Pierce Arrows, Packards, Stutzes, Duesenbergs, Rolls-Royces, an Allard, a Kissel, a Brewster, an Iso Grifo, a Stanley Steamer and two Muntz Jets to name a just a few. On Saturday we will be featuring cars from the European car clubs including the Porsche, Jaguar, and Mercedes clubs.
In addition, on Sunday, next door to our site, the Milwaukee Yacht Club will be having a fund raiser with a yacht show, classic wooden boat show, and a classic motorcycle show.
If a member of the Durant Motors Automobile Club is at all interested in presenting an excellent example of a Durant vehicle for the show, please email me for an application. If you wish, I can mail a DVD of last year's show for your consideration.
