Tire Air Pressure

I have been told different Air Pressure for my Tires.
I have been using 45lb's, it was suggested to use 35lb's. that seems to soft. What should I be using for proper tire wear, etc.? My tires are 4" x 31" on my 1923 A22 Durant 4 Dr. Sedan.

Re: Tire Air Pressure

Hi Ken,
Here is what the 1923 Instruction Manual has to say: "Tires should be pumped up to 20 lbs per inch of sectional diameter, that is, the 31 X 4 tires used on the Durant should carry 80 lbs."
Hope this helps.....

Re: Re: Tire Air Pressure

Thanks Yates. I have used at one time 75lb's but was told that was not nessary for todays tires. Thanks I will go back to at least 65 or 70lb's.
