I met up with Bill Davis, another Durant M2 owner, at a local car show recently and he told me where the old Durant Dealer was located in Rochester, NY. Many years ago he did some roofing on the building and was shocked to find the Durant logo on the building as he was setting up his ladder.

I am glad to report that the building is still there and looks to be in good shape too. Here are links to two pics taken earlier today.

What is there now?

The Rochester School System has one high school that is better than the rest, SOTA, School of the Arts. I don't know how exactly they use the building, or if they own it or not, but they are the current tenants. I was hoping it would be vacant and I had a hope too that I could buy it from the city for the $6 I have in my wallet. Then I'd have a place to store my cars and I would hold seances to speak to the ghosts of other M2s like mine.
