Just looking for confirmation, I guess. The way the vent tube entrance is constructed on my 31 radiator (The tube opening is below the seal), I assume the radiator is not pressurized and I don't need a pressurized cap. Is this correct?

Wayne:
You are absolutely correct. I am not sure just what year pressure caps came into vogue, but it was after 1932 as far as I know. Someone out there will probably have the correct information.

wayne,
presurized cooling system was a developmet of car industry of 50´ decade or special performance engines.
The tube opening only is designed to channel the excess of water produced by thermal expansion
you don´t need a presurized cup.
could you send me a picture of your drainage tube path?
thanks in advance
