Going through some of my papers from the Oakland California DeVaux-Hall Motors Corporation, I found the following "Stolen Car Bulletin No. 2" issued on October 2, 1931

Durant Coupe Cabriolet, 1929 Model 60, six cylinder motor number 106145, serial number 4704 California 1931 License No 3D9471 , car is painted Cherry Red

It goes on too discribe the driver by name and where last seen etc. Also states he was rumored to be at Salinas, Healdsburg in California or around Junction City , Oregon

This was sent out by E.S. Jones the sales manager

Very interesting reading, I wonder if the car or the license plate still exist? Any body have this Car or Plate?
