Removing Fenders

I recently posted an add to sell my 1928 Durant. However I have decided to keep it and would like to repaint it and clean up some areas. Engine bay and fenders. My question is can I remove the fenders without damage to other parts such as the interior? My car is royal blue and I would like to paint the fenders black. I would appreciate feedback on my proposed color scheme.
Thanks Lawrence

Re: Removing Fenders

The fenders unbolt from the body with no problem. Look under the fenders and you can see the bolts. Have fun!

Re: Removing Fenders

Squirt a little penetrating oil on the bolts and nuts for several days prior to attempting to remove them. These bolts can shear off and then you have a problem which requires drilling out the broken bolt. Go slow and don't force it.

Jan @ Bruce

Thanks a lot. I will be putting on the penatrating oil.
