The Tech Page has an excellent article on setting up a Warner steering gear. Unfortunately, this info doesn't help me with my 4-07 which uses (I think), a Saginaw gear box.

I've tried setting my box up but even with new bearings, it is still rough and has more play than I'd like. Maybe the sector and shaft are too badly worn. I hope not.

Would anyone have info on rebuilding and/or setting up the steering gear on 1930 Durant's?
