does anyone know if the radiator shell and headlight rims are painted or natural nickel or what on a 23 star touring.

Both the radiator cover and the lamprims were painted black... actually the hole model C were originally looking like it was dipped in black paint. Parts that we like to keep in a "natural" looks today, seems to have be painted as original - steering wheel, top bows etc...
I was seen your car in the photo session, looking very original, WOW! Keep it in that condition!
