Adjusting the brakes on my 1925 Star touring
I'm having trouble adjusting the brakes on my Star. The front brakes have a cam adjustment to position the dual shoes and the linkage leading to them has a threaded yoke to lenghten or shorten the linkage. This I understand. None of the linkages on the rear brake...

Transmission rebuild
The input shaft on the transmission on my 25 Star wobbles like a drunken sailor. I'm thinking of rebuilding the entire transmission. Should I try it myself or have someone else do it? Are there any gears, etc. available?

Heat Gauge
Anyone know how the gauge works ? Mine is cut behind the dash and a mickey mouse jobber hanging from the dash instead. I assume its a hollow tube to the block with mercury inside but perhaps not. Seems too thin to be a hollow tube to the gauge. Wondered if the jobber...

Monroe knee action shocks

6-63 Oil Filter
Does anyone elses 6-63 have the oil filter mounted on the firewall? Mine has a replaceable "sock" type filter mounted top center on the firewall. Usual oil filter mounts on the engine have not mee machined. It has never had a filter on the block. Dave
