Welcome back everyone, and welcome to any new subscribers!
So since the last email we've had a huge amount of movement. Some truly massive orders for 7ype Coins, which caught us by surprise, and it took us a couple of days to catch up. The extra income allowed us to do some "last minute" deals before extending the deadline for the ICO, so theres some exciting stuff coming up. This also means updating the white paper and introductary presentation, but as this has happened several times I've set a hard deadline for them, as below.
As some of you will have noticed, more content is being added to the website daily. A detailed interactive FAQ section has been added to the "contact us" section, and several films are now live. We are aiming to have all pages live by the end of Monday 4th. Thank you for bareing with uis in the meantime, I know its been a longer wait than expected, and everyone's been so patient and kind, but "enough is enough" and we have ad campaigns lined up from Tuesday onwards, so its time to properly bit the bullet. I have booked a full 48 hour period from film commitments on Monday and Tuesday to finalise everything, so expecty more updates from me between now and Tuesday.
3 of the films on our slate have full pages up,
including posters and trailers to watch!
The Perfect Love Song:
http://7ype.com/films/tplsIt feels fitting to re-release TPLS as the first film on 7ype - this was the first feature film I ever wrote and directed, back in 2008/9. It is incredibly low budget, essentially made as a learning experience, and subsequently has a few technical issues here and there, our newer films are of a far higher quality! But there is certainly something charming about this story, and the film was awarded two development BAFTA bursaries, and was screened by the British Film Institute for Valentines Day, and it seems to play well with audiences. Of particular note is the excellent and varied soundtrack, and I'm glad to offer it as a perk, as I know many will enjoy these songs. The film has seen a limited cinema and DVD release in the UK, but this will be the first time its available in other countries, and the first time for HD Streaming and Blu-Ray.
I'm Still here:
http://7ype.com/films/imstillhere
This is an easy film to recommend, and we're very lucky to have it on our slate. Coming from the exceedingly talented writer and director Kris Smith, this is a gripping drama which covers illness in a very human way, and has a beautiful romance interplaying perfectly with the tragedy. Masterfully acted by Dan Burman, (known for
The Human Centipede 2) and Rebecca Bailey (
Man in the Mirror), and with a stunning supporting role from Lucy Russell (
Genius,
The Syndicate,
Doctors), I am proud to be helping this film get its first wide release via home video and VOD streaming.
Live Justine:

Live Justine is a really special film - what looks like a simple exploitation horror film turns out to have many unexpected twists and turns, even during the end credits! What starts as an amusing setup pretty soon turns into a terrifying eye-opening story of the dangers of the connectivity of modern technology, made all the more gripping by the fact its all based on real life events! The film stars the fantastic Lucy Pinder. Lucy is the most successful British glamour model of all time, and has a huge fanbase. She has already had acting roles in Sharnado 5, Age of Kill alongside Martin Kemp,Strippers Vs Werewolves with Robert Englund, and the big budget Bollywood film Warrior Savitri, with many more lined up. She did an amazing job and is sure to wow critics in this, her first lead role.
This film is around 95% complete, and an early cut has already played exceptionally well with test audiences, and we are are using a small amount of money from 7ype to film some extra scenes originally included in the script but cut due to time and bugetary constraints, that will make the finished film even better. We already have huge amount of interest from multiple distributors around the world, and some big film festivals have requested to screen the film, so the film is set to be a big success.
All in all there will be 10 films available to support with your 7ypecoins by the end of tomorrow! I hope you all enjoy the trailers, and I'll let you know as soon as everything is live and ready to roll. We slightly delayed the ability to spend coins as tomorrow we are finalising details of some pretty cool bonuses and perks for you guys, I'm excited about what we will be able to offer as rewards for loyal 7ypers! :)
One last thing: As promised, I have got Jac (our legal and financial expert) to start compiling lists of the most common and reputable exchanges and start approaching them. She has contacted several already and I will let you know progress as soon as I hear back.
Many thanks again to everyone for the continued support, and I hope you all have a great day!
