I want to transfer a site I created on a staging site to another domain name. Is this possible? It is also a bit complicated because the site I wish to transfer has a joomla base.

Just upload to the new location. So simple that there might be some complication that you have omitted to tell us about.

I will try that I was just concerned it might take my site down with complications. I will give it a go and see what happens.
