I need to transfer a domain from GoDaddy.
How do I go about doing this?

Browser: Firefox

OS: XP

1. Log into Bravenet and click on "Domains"
2. Click on "Transfer a Domain"
4. Enter your domain name, and click on the "Transfer Domain" button
6. Select the domain contact you want to use in the dropdown box
7. Enter your domain transfer password(EPP code)
8. Click on the "Transfer Domain" button
9. Choose your payment method, and click on the Pay button

You will need to go to GoDaddy to get your EPP code.

I'm transferring this for a friend.
When I get to the "Domain Transfer Request" page" it says "If you are not the authorized owner of this domain, the transfer will not complete but you will still be charged for the transfer request."

Who owns the domain... my friend, or Domains by Proxy, Inc. that is at the bottom of the Go Daddy page under "Registrant"?
Sorry, I've never transferred a domain before.
