Counters are not working right!

I have three website counters and they are counting with my own visits EVEN AFTER I configure then not to do so (and save settings). So, their counts are completely unuseful and I have little benefit from using them (rather then discovering who clicked).

Browser: Internet Explorer 8.0.7600 and Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10

OS: Windows 7

When you set a counter to ingore your hits it places a cookie in your website browser.

If you use a different computer or a different browser or clear your browser cookies then your hit will be counted.
