Password Protect entire site

Hi,

I see I can copy/paste code on any page(s) to password protect it even if it's on a different host.

But can bravenet password protect my entire sub domain on bravenet using a free account?

I want to place my site here for family viewing only and trouble is, the 70+ pages will be updated often and having to copy/paste the code every time is tiring thinking about even.

Tiring and confusing. Why would you have you have to copy/paste the code every time you update?

And what does it matter how many pages you have? If the protection is to reserve the site for family viewing, all you need is password protection on the main page. And tell your family not to post links to any other pages in places where Google might find them. As long as you don't name your pages anything people might easily think of ("page2.html", say) chances of anyone finding a page by trial and error is close to zero.

It is strongly recommenced to copy and paste the code onto every page in order to keep your pages secure. It would only have to be done once, even if you update.

Re: Password Protect entire site

I have doen exactly what it says to do but CANNOT seem to get this to work.
On logging in, I am taken to http://pub26.bravenet.com/passwd/show.php

It says I am logged in but does not take me to the page I wish to go to

Ideas anyone? I know it will be something very simple that I just cannot see
