Hello and Happy New year. I copied the code from paypal but Donate button doesnt work Can anyone on here help or advise please or shoukd I take it up with paypal. Thank you

You appear to have picked up only the fraction of the code that makes the button appear, but not the bit that makes it work. There is nothing there to tie the button back to your Paypal account.
Drop the button from your site and get fresh code from PP, making sure that you copy it all.
