I do not see my site...

when I click to view it I go to the correct url, but all that is there is an ad... Do I need to activate something else or what?

Browser: IE 8

OS: win XP

Re: I do not see my site...

IF YOU WANT US TO SEE SOMETHING THEN PROVIDE US WITH THE URL to YOUR SITE

WE SEE NOTHING so you may not have uploaded your index.html file to the root directory and more properly

WE are not even sure what editor and more you are using

YOU WILL have ads if you have free hosting or the free subdomain

Re: I do not see my site...

the url is http://rainbow-magic.bravehost.com/

I uploaded the index and other files to the correct location as far as I know, and the subdirectories are there.

Re: I do not see my site...

Looks to me like you are trying to use FRAMES with your site and they are NOT ALLOWED with free hosted sites/subdomain

So you may have to drop using frames if that is what you are using.

OR UPGRADE your hosting

no frames?!

well, thank you for the info.

er, does anyone know of a free site that uses frames? I simply don't really have time to recode and change my site.

Re: I do not see my site...

try awardspace.com

not sure if they allow frames with their sites

I had mine their at one time but wasn't with frames

But frames here with free hosting or a free subdomain can't be used

Re: I do not see my site...

"Not allowed" isn't quite correct.
Frames are "not supported".
The reason your page is blank is because you left out the noframes part of the code.

If you go to this page you will see your frames displayed. No images? Yes, that is because the page isn't on your site, and you used relative rather than absolute URLs for the images.

But as you can see, even if you add the noframes section, you still have issues that need to be taken care of. A bigger bottom frame to allow for the advertising for one.
