I have added a friends external domain to my account which has transferred fine. However it says its under construction. Do I need to transfer files too before it works?
The website was down before adding with previous provider.

Have you loaded the index as it still says under construction

you have the placeholder page that you ALWAYS get when the page has propogated but you have NOT uploaded an index.htm page or an index.html page


So now the person has to start designing their site or you do or whomever is doing it


So give the person access to the bravenet account so they can start making their pages for their site


If you already have something made for their site then you upload it


But their is an index.html page but it is the placeholder under construction page till YOU or someone uploads the index.html page for the site
