It would be a poor idea to delete the site. The name would be made available for anyone to take, and it may take a while. You probably won't be able to get it back for a couple of days. Then, when you do get it back, it will recognize that you are the one that had it originally, and all the original pages will be restored. Yes, I have tried this with some free sites, and that is what happens.
If that web site is already yours, and all you want to do is update it, then do it. Just delete/add/edit/... the pages that may already be there. Or upload new ones.
And, don't be looking for admins in these forums. These are user-helping-user forums. Once in a while a real admin answers a question, but no very often.
