When reviewing my website, I see that the image of one of my books has disappeared. When I tried to copy and paste it there again, it won't do it. Help! How can I get it there again. When I llook for the images on the website (photos, etc.), it's no longer listed there! I wonder what happened to it!

I see some red x's for I guess what should be images and they are all linked to a publishamerica.com site

So you need to look at that site for the images to see if they are their or find some other site that may have your books like barnes and noble or someplace

Your code for images works for images ONLY if coded correctly.

If the site where you got the images from goes down or the link etc for the image is incorrect you see the red x's

If you hotlink images from another site there is always the risk that the other site will move or rename them. You will have to go back and find the image again and check the address.

It is also possible that Publishamerica has blocked hotlinking.

How do you remove a picture that someone has stolen from you?

well is it a picture that someone took right from your website

and you want to remove it from your website then login in and delete the picture from your website and upload the page again


Many people want to take images and use them from other people's sites.

But you can contact the person who took it from you and ask them to remove it

Too late. If somebody stole it, it has already been removed.
