I have a free site with Bravenet for a number of years, but late last year, I created a new site elsewhere. I also have a domain name which I have with Bravenet and is linked to the free site.
I currently have the domain name redirected to my new site.
My question is: Can I delete the free website without causing issues with the domain name? I have the nameservers for the new host but have as yet not changed them, but have only redirected the domain to the new host.
In your Bravenet account, under Web Hosting, managment of your web sites is separate from the management of your domain name(s). So, deleting your free web site should not affect anything else in your account. You will still be able to manage our domain name(s), and any of the web tools you might be registered for, without having a web site.
